The Calhoun-Cleburne Mental Health Board, and its professional and support staff are committed to providing quality, accessible and acceptable mental health services in consonance with the true spirit of the organization’s vision, “To those in need, by those who care”. In its dedication of the newly constructed Mental Health Center on August 5, 1971, the original Board of Directors and incorporators envisioned the Center as a place where anyone who needed help would be welcomed and provided professional mental health services by a competent staff who were compassionate, respectful and responsive to the unique needs of each individual. “To those in need, by those who care,” is permanently inscribed on a plaque at the entrance of the Center for all to see and to serve as a reminder to its employees for generations to come that while change is inevitable, the organization’s mission remains consistently relevant to the organization’s vision.
